In April 2006 Lee Clair, a Norbridge Partner, spoke at the National Coal Transportation Association (NCTA) spring meeting in Napa, CA on the preparedness of the coal supply chain for the impending growth in coal demand. The speech was based on a study that Norbridge conducted in early 2006. The findings are that many of the supply chain participants are not prepared for the growth, and that there is considerable need to improve the processes that span several of the supply chain participants.
