Recent engagements include market/competitive analysis of Asia-North America container transport services, new product development for an LTL motor carrier, feasibility study of a proposed greenfield port, assessment of alternative supply chains for finished vehicle transport, development of decision support tools to evaluate multimodal shipping options, reorganization and IT re-platforming for a US motor carrier, and development of a program management approach that has systematically improved operational productivity across a major enterprise. Mr. Wise is a frequent speaker before a wide range of industry audiences, including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, National Industrial Transportation League, and Intermodal Association of North America. He has published numerous articles on carrier strategies, logistics services, and transportation equipment and facility issues, appearing in such periodicals as Traffic World, Logistics Management, Containerization International, Progressive Railroading, and Business Week. Before joining Norbridge, Mr. Wise was a Vice President at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman), responsible for its North American surface transportation consulting practice, serving carriers, suppliers, and financial institutions. Prior to Mercer and its predecessor, Temple, Barker & Sloane, Inc., he held several marketing management positions at Conrail and worked in service planning at Southern Pacific Transportation Company. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of RailRunner, N.A., and previously, Intellitrans, LLC; Emons Transportation Group, Inc.; and Vehiclocity.com.
