David Weinstein, a Partner at Norbridge, Inc., specializes in transportation, logistics, and the postal sector. For the last 25 years, he has assisted both providers and purchasers of logistics services with the development of innovative strategies.

Clients have included the senior management of a wide range of US and international transportation companies across all modes, numerous companies with logistics management challenges, as well as companies in the postal sector.

Mr. Weinstein has notable experience in:

• Development and implementation of strategic plans.
• Design of performance measurement systems and process improvement initiatives specific to the transportation industry.
• Acquisition and due diligence analysis.
• Strategic application of supply chain and transportation information technology.

Prior to Norbridge, he was with Accenture, where he was a Partner and the Global Leader of Accenture’s Transportation Strategy Practice, responsible for the management and development of a team of transportation and logistics strategy professionals and the coordination of the practice within the firm. He also had global responsibility for Accenture’s activities in air cargo and ocean shipping.

In addition to his work with clients, he has developed industry “points of view” and authored white papers covering a range of topics, including industry restructuring, industry economics, company and asset valuation, the future role of technology, and freight security.

Earlier, David was a Partner in the transportation practice of Mercer Management Consulting. He also held management positions within the transportation practice of AT Kearney and was a logistics manager with the Dole Food Company.

David holds a BS in Ocean Engineering from MIT, an MS in Transportation Management from MIT, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
