
Mark Kadar is a Norbridge Partner based in Concord. Mark has over 25 years of consulting and management experience. His consulting work has involved organization design, strategy development, and restructuring projects for the transportation industry (logistics, maritime, rail, airlines and postal) all over the world. Illustrative projects include:
- Multiple strategy and organizational design projects globally (Middle East, Europe, North America, and Asia) for port operators, liner shipping companies and major railroads
- Multi-phase merger integration project for a global port operating company
- Leading a major project to forecast demand for the Panama Canal Authority
- Leading a comprehensive engagement involving the restructuring, re-organization, and successful turnaround of one of Europe's largest port-operating companies
- Many strategy and organizational design projects for international liner shipping companies (including in the Middle East) and global 3PL providers (including in Asia)
- Several strategy and operational improvement efforts in airfreight (global cargo players)
- Several marketing and customer franchise management / loyalty program design projects for a major European airline and leading retail and tourism players
- Multiple investment strategy and due diligence efforts
- Several efforts in developing new products for international logistics companies (forwarders, 3PLs and integrators)
- Sales force effectiveness and pricing work in multiple sectors
Mark Kadar holds a B.A. (summa cum laude), M. Phil. (with distinction), and M.A. from Yale University, and a J.D. (cum laude) from Harvard Law School. He grew up in Europe and is fluent in German.
He joined Norbridge from Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting) where he led their global logistics and maritime practices, and also served as Middle East Geography Head. Previously Mark worked at Bain & Company and the Roland Berger Group and has held a senior management position at Hapag-Lloyd.
